THE DUCKLING JUDGMENT

The Brisbane bus driver at the centre of The Duckling Incident has been reinstated. You hear that, you beaky yellow frauds? Your road-jamming days are over.

(via Paul Bickford, whose site I can’t link to for some weird reason.)

I can't wait for the next time this guy is tooling down the road and sees a line of duckling crossing same. I bet the whacko left will complain when he steers frantically to avoid squashing the cute-n-fuzzies, overturning the speeding bus and killing four or five people.

But at least the duckies will be safe!

The bus company says they are going to, "...give Mr Campbell another chance to prove himself worthy of employment." What??? Apparently endangering the lives of dozens of people is what you have to do to prove yourself worthy of employment at that bus company!

Bugger those feathered freeloaders- do they pay rego? I believe the Israel Defence Force was waiting in the wings of the hearing with an offer of employment as a 'dozer driver if his appeal failed. Link problems are due to bandwidth- the link below may(or may not, depending on the whim of Blogger servers) work.

It wasn't a win for the little guys who got squashed! They were just exercising their rights too.

i for some reason can never connect to sites with odd characters like "&" or "_" in their URLs. maybe this is the problem you're having with bickford.

Bus driver: I think I may have run over a duck!

Passenger: Don't take half measures! If you're not sure, back up the bus and run over it again!

Sounds like a lame excuse for a wet fart to me.
