HIDDEN CAT STOCKPILES

Trouble has erupted at Barney the dog's official White House site, where Bush operatives are accused of suppressing Willie the cat:

Trish, from Portage, IN, writes: I have never seen the Cats Picture. I have no idea whats hes or she name is. Show more of the Cat. I am a Cat Lover.

Jimmy Orr, White House Internet Director: We have featured Willie the Cat twice (when we ran out of Barney photos). Willie is elusive and far harder to capture on film (kind of like the Loch Ness monster).

There's your WMD mystery solved. This administration has problems locating a housecat, much less anything buried in canisters in the desert.

Yes, but who would want to find a cat?

I mean for something other than a target.

I have no idea whats hes or she name is.

Well, I certainly hope Trish is either an internet savvy 7-yr old or a newly immigrated Russian, cuz dayyum, that's some atrocious use of the English language.

And to preempt any lurking lefty w/no sense of humour, "but but Tim, we have proof of the cats existence, unlike that sham of a show by Powell at the UN."

Consider Willie freed.

I like cats. Neuter every one you can catch, however, and there will still be enough to cause environmental disaster to songbirds and other stuff I like (along with, you know, housing developments and all). Not a PETA response. Just an opinion.

Yeah, but humans cause plenty damage to the "environment" too.

It's a sign of all great living beings.

I fucking hate songbirds. Stupid twittering things, yelping outside my window at ungodly hours. They aren't cute: they are just like their velociraptor ancestors, only smaller.

Does this involving herding cats?

Good thing this wasn't about the politically insensitive cat named after a portion of the Asian continent...

Ha! Operation CAT(erpillar) is working! First a walk-over victory against Commissar's "running (away) dog"... Now it is time for GWB's Scottish Terrier Barney!

I can always find my cats. Either they're eating kibble or they're passed out directly in my path...

Spring is on its way and the glorious songbirds are in full voice. And next door's cat is in full hunting mode.

It wants to watch out, because earlier this year my dogs caught and killed next door's other cat whilst it was stalking birds - on my property.

Oh yes, I have just about the entire food chain in my back yard. It's entertaining.
