UTTER BEWILDERMENT
I have no idea why this is currently the most-viewed article at the Sydney Morning Herald's website. Why aren’t readers more fascinated by an examination of Tuscan architecture's declining influence in local design?
Posted by Tim Blair at July 5, 2004 05:59 AMThat was not meant as a Muslim insult, by the way. Merely an indulgent chuckle and a tsk tsk.
Posted by: Rebecca at July 5, 2004 at 06:54 AMI wish I was in High School again, by the way...
Posted by: Quentin George at July 5, 2004 at 08:16 AMGotta love the fact that the SMH posted the picture - all in the name of good journalism of course. It doesnt quite make up for posting Margo's picture as well, but it is a good start...
Posted by: attila at July 5, 2004 at 09:41 AMI think that this sort of, er, extracurricular activity would have made my life in high school a lot more memorable.
Posted by: The Real JeffS at July 5, 2004 at 09:53 AMIS this Art?
A friend of mine went to college with David Hockney.
Hockney gave him a painting in payment of a debt.
Paul told me he had accepted the painting because there was little chance of getting back any hard cash.
"Where is it" I asked.
"Hanging in the toilet. go have a look".
When i returned i said. "Paul, this is a painting of a post puberty schoolgirl in uniform, with her knickers down below her knees ! Is this art?"
"Who knows, one day it could be worth lots of Money. In any case its ideal for the loo"
i'm sorry to be the one to ask, but does anyone know where the other picture(s) are?
Posted by: Monco at July 5, 2004 at 12:20 PMIf the school heads thought that was risque, it's a good job they were never at the girls' grammar school I went to!

Posted by: Freddyboy at July 5, 2004 at 04:35 PMErr people, I believe Monco asked a perfectly valid question and it would be rude not to answer. WHERE ARE THE OTHER PICTURES???
:)

Posted by: Pixy Misa at July 5, 2004 at 10:05 PMI'm a bit surprised at a newspaper publishing such a photo of someone under the age of 18.
Posted by: Andjam at July 6, 2004 at 01:30 AMI hope this Adam Hollingworth is no relation to a previous Governor-General.
Posted by: Andjam at July 6, 2004 at 01:31 AMAussies! You get everything upside down! Cape Cod homes are not associated with snow covered mountains, but with a cold, icy seashore, white foam breakers and rime, snow melting and refreezing to ice to hang off the eaves. Think of the Great Barrier Reef with icebergs...
The girl was okay, though.
