HUSSEIN HIT?

Little bits of possible Saddam are under the microscope:

American specialists were carrying out DNA tests last night on human remains believed by US military sources to be those of Saddam Hussein and one of his sons, The Observer can reveal.

The remains were retrieved from a convoy of vehicles struck last week by US forces following 'firm' information that the former Iraqi leader and members of his family were travelling in the Western Desert near Syria.

If it is indeed Saddam, I hope his DNA doesn't morph into some evil virus.

Waaaaaaaaaahhhhhh! Waaaaaaaahhh!

Oh dear me. The poor innocent people of Iraq have lost the great, benevolent Father of their country. Saddam was truly a visionary, a man who provided a beacon of light to the Arab peoples of this world, that they might some day be free of the decadent influences of our Western styled "democracies".

I....I, I'm sorry, I just can't go on right now....Maybe if I took my Jag for a leisurly drive around Melbourne's exclusive inner suburbs I can clear my mind...

Now do we have Crean and Latham leading the house in a valedictory for Hussein. AFAIK neither has publicly condemned this mutant slime.

Carry on the Whitlam/Uren tradition no less!

Until they find the moustache, his legacy will live on.

Pending confirmation..............I'll smile then, it's not a fair trade, but we can only kill him once.

Hey, Saddam! How's that Saladin thing working out?

Posted by: Roger Bournival at June 23, 2003 at 01:51 AM

The Observer reported it, but only bloggers (and Drudge) are spreading the story, so as much as I'd like it to be true, I don't feel very confident that it is.

Hmmm, where is the State Department condemnation of "unhelpful" targeted assassinations that do not foster negotiations toward a Peaceful Middle East? Must be in the mail....
