JUDY "ENSLAVE US" DAVIS

ABC radio reported yesterday that actress Judy Davis delivered a “stirring anti-war poem” at a Sydney demonstration opposed to the the war. For the sake of balance, Davis appeared alongside John Pilger, who is, as Glenn Reynolds notes, not anti-war -- just on the other side.

"There once was a neo-con Zionist from Nantucket ... "

LGF earlier posted the finest image to emerge from Saturday’s global anti-whatever demonstrations. Then Silent Running set a new standard with this marvel -- an anti-war protester who demands “Nth Korea’s right to nukes” and “Racist Australian imperialist troops out of the Solomon Islands, East Timor and Iraq.” As SR notes:

Too late about the Solomons. The troops are already home. It's just police there now, and not all are Australian. They come from New Zealand, Fiji, Samoa and the Cook Islands. And they were invited in by the country's parliament.

Dumb peaceniks. Join Charles in a toast to Australian goodness! A toast as well to blogger Galen, who identifies the sinister force that turned him into a conservative:

When asked about my changed political views during debates with family members, I simply blame them on Robert Fisk.

Wow, what a photo. Reminds me of a line in a poem I wrote.
"a hard and heartless woman; with a mouth as mean as a paper cut."

If some screwball lefty wants North Korea to keep their nukes for self defense, the gun control lobby in the United States had better stop yapping about guns kill people.

It's pretty effing clear that guns don't kill people -- it's brainless goofballs with a big mouth, pen and paper, and too much time on their hands who kill people. Through their sheer stupidity, they set the world up for a fatal fall, all in the name of their cause, whatever it is this time of day.

The ABC describes it as a handful!!!

Seems Carmen Lawrence knows better than General Peter Cosgrove.

"Speaking at the Brisbane rally, Dr Lawrence said it was obvious Australia and other nations who had supported the US-led invasion were at risk.

"I haven't heard a single intelligent observer say otherwise," she said."

So by implication, General Peter Cosgrove, a man that has actually fought in a warzone and has risen to the top of the defence force, lacks intelligence? Thank God for four-eyed pathological lying cowardly gits like her to sort us out!

Then there are these geniuses. They planned out scaling Big Ben, got the equipment, but forget to get a sign big enough to be visible from the streets. Whoops.

Isn't that just asking for the US to invade? Is that what they want?

Now there is a formidable combination to win over the hearts and minds of mice - the Begum of Birchgrove and Pilger the Puke.

Those who read this website might get a kick out of watching "Who Dares Wins" or "The Final Option". A young, permed Judy Davis plays an ultra leftwing terrorist (American , for some strange reason) who gets gunned down at the end. There is a great scene where Richard Widmark verbally cuts down her "philosophy" I didn't think they really were her views! The movie is refreshingly rightwing- think Dirty Harry meets the Green Berets.

nearly a year since the war ended..surely they didn't miss the memo?

Perhaps, when she was speaking, Carmen just didn't remember what General Peter Cosgrove said.

Hideous. Joan Crawford's face on Schwarzenegger's neck.

What is it with lefties, that their ugliness deepens with age? The eyes, more squinty, the lips narrow to nothing, so they smear the lipstick onto skin, like Davis has here....Patrick White was the classic example. In his final years his face frightened dogs into submissive urination. A response to look forward to, Judy?

"Nth Korea"??
I thought there were only two. Is there an (N+1)th Korea?
