SPIDERHOLE.BLOGSPOT.COM

The NY Post examines Saddam Hussein’s post-capture mood:

"While he's talkative, he's provided nothing substantial. His comments are self-serving, lengthy rationalizations of his behavior, and he punctuates a lot of it with wise-ass and deflective remarks."

This bearded newbie is aiming to rip me off! Execute him at once.

Come to think of it, has anyone ever seen Tim and Saddam together at the same time? Hmmmm.

Maybe he spent most of his time on the run reading your Blog. You know what they say about imitation and flattery.

Speaking of star performers, reckon they should put him in a cell with Slobodan Milosevic (imagine that, Slobbo and Saddo, sitting in a tree . . . ) and record their conversations . . remember that according to Slobbo, his trial is "your problem", not his.

Wonder what he's having for ... LUNCH?

Given who's holding him his treatment is going to be humane and fair, very unlike how Dubya would be treated were the tables reversed. But Americans are all gung-ho imperialist murdering freaks right?

He's going to get a halal meal with enough nutritional value to allow him to gain weight and recover his health. The Americans, as the sane and normal among us realise, follow the Geneva Convention and will treat him as well if not much better than any other prisoner of war, much better than he actually deserves. He will assuredly be better treated and last longer than if he were in the hands of the people he ruled and abused for decades.

As an aside I bet anything that Saddam wishes that france *had* gotten involved in the war. He could have surrendered to the french and been in Paris by tea time for Croisants and yellow cake.
