Here’s a whole bunch of Bulletin columns filed from the US. Apologies for not linking earlier. Or, depending on your view, apologies for linking now.

"To hell with them". Absolutely right. Good on them. Nice to have you back Tim.

Claims that Jessica Lynch was raped have since been disputed.

I hope the claims were incorrect.

Sorry the weather sucked so bad for you, Tim. Hope you managed to eke out some good times nonetheless. Come back and visit in the summer sometime.

re: Howard Dean - I believe he'll get the nomination and give Bush a run for his money.

re: Jessica Lynch - she's a victim, not a hero. There are plenty of heroes in Iraq and Afghanistan, but we don't hear about them. Presumably we're too queasy about heroism that involves killing the enemy, or getting killed while killing the enemy who's killing your buddies.

Oh, yeah, one more thing - when offered deals to make money from his actions, Alvin York refused, saying "What we did in the Meuse-Argonne ain't for buyin' or sellin'."

Apologies not accepted. Too much cutting and pasting.
