Sounds like bullshit, but funny if true. Of course, that doesn't mean that the guy driving the car is necessarily an idiot - with the tax breaks a fella gets with hybrids, the economics might work out. On second thought, that's a really complicated and jackassesque way to make/save money. So, probably bogus.

Or, the guy bought the car, found that the reach was less than he needed, and improvised when he found that no one else wanted to purchase the damned rolling hemorrhoid from him.

Don't be surprised if the image of a small electric car towing a running generator is included in some future movie scene along with a caravan of old belchers sporting "Greenpeace" bumper stickers. Plenty of entertainment value.

Without a pic, I'm highly skeptical as to whether it occurred or not. Nonetheless, I'm going to post it on my blog and ask my readers what their take is. Thanks.
