Calling him a centrist implies a greater coherence to his views than I think is the case.

I think his opinions are a real mish-mash: I think the dominant aspects are catholic conservatism and blue collar populism.

But they're all LOUD.

The only reason I ever pay any attention whatsoever to O'Reilly is that he absolutely infuriates the Loony Left. They get so mad they can't even spit. Even when I agree with them (and I do, ever so occasionally) it's still fun to watch them implode. Watching the Al Franken meltdown was the next best thing to Paradise. Anyone got the tape of that?

I don't know who O'Reilly is, but it's a wonderful prayer and could be adapted for use here in Australia, as compulsory in all schools, since it fits any religion. Just insert any one of the folllowing names: David Marr, Margot Kingston, Philip Adams for O'Reilly.

It seems Australia is a little top heavy with Bush apologists at the moment, would you not agree, but death is just to good for them. B O'R is a populist/statist. His 1st reaction to any issue is, "what's the federal government doing to solve this problem?" The fact that the left in America see him as a right-wing bomb thrower has always amused me. He attacked their icons Je$$e Jack$on and Hillary! so, to them, he must be part of the VRWC. Deep thinkers they. A good reason to support Flynt's run for gov is just to hear his guttural, gurgling speeches. That would be a scream. So far his positons are: casinos everywhere, legal prostitution and legal dope. B O'R won't like much of that!
