Jenin, Jenin, a bunch of Palestinian propaganda recently broadcast on Australia’s SBS network, was produced by Iad Taisir Taher Samodi. Command Post has an update on Samodi’s latest project:

Iad Taisir Taher Samodi was killed on June 23, 2002 in the village Yamon, while trying to resist arrest. Three cell phones, a gun and ammunitions were discovered on his body. Thirty pipe explosives ready to be used for attacks were subsequently found at his house.

Special effects! Those were all just for special effects! Meanwhile Arab Film Distribution provides an alternative ending to this story:

On June 23, as Israeli forces besieged Yamun, Samudi was shot and killed as he was leaving a military-closed area with three friends.

Ahh, Jenin Jenin. Appears oddly reminiscent of the Seinfeld movie Rochelle, Rochelle ("a young woman's strange erotic journey from Milan to Minsk"). But maybe it's just me.

Scotty, we're waitig for your post on the Witkinstien Club. No, it's the Aft Brigade. Wait, the Austere Looks Society. Yeah, the Glumbies. Nope, that's not them. Ahhh, the Itzhak Perlman Group?

murdering terrorists are really nice types, they carry arms , pipe bombs, sundry similar paraphernalia, for self defence during their evening promenade. The Israelis, they are the terrorist bastards; let's face it, killing those who are murderers is a crime.

You're posting at 1.40am and you're waiting for me? I'm touched, but I think you need a life urgently, Charles...

Anyway, Stern Gang. You know, terrorism worked... they got the state of Israel they were after.

On topic: always remember to click through - the report Tim quotes is actually a statement from the Israeli Embassy. As usual, Tim fails to give any clue to this in his post.

That's what links are for, Bon. They save me the trouble of writing everything out at huge length and in enormous detail. Clever people figure out this "link" business relatively quickly.

You, on the other hand ...

Sure they do.

It's just that you consistently misrepresent your sources, either by commission or omission, several times a day.

If you don't want that fact mentioned, turn off comments. It's your blog.

Quite frankly your reporting skills are either extremely poor or you're doing it deliberately. Charitably, I choose to believe that you wouldn't even have got a gig writing for Ram in 1975.

Start a blog, old man. Show me how to do this thing properly.

"Bon Scott," is, of course, so proud of his writing credentials that he uses his name and will be willing to give us the titles (and links, if any of it is on the web) to everything he has written. Or are comments in blogs the only thing you have ever written, Mr. "Scott"?

Jenin, Jenin - Rochelle, Rochelle I love it!

Have I written other things? I'm only responsible for many of Oz rock's greatest ever lyrics, ya maroon.

Oh, I see -- so you have nothing.
