Channel 10 ruin the Monaco experience

Formula One racing is a bit boring these days but it was always worth watching the Monaco Grand Prix, as the cars race around the narrow streets of Monte Carlo.

However, this year Channel 10, through its dishonesty and incompetence, ruined that enjoyment.

The GP was advertised to start at 10.50 PM but we had to wait until after 11.20PM and sit through to the end of the gruesome, violent, badly acted and very silly “Bone Collector”. Why weren’t we given the correct program time? Don’t Channel 10 know how long their movie is?

Channel 10 then announced that it was crossing “live” to Monaco, when in fact the race was about 4 laps from the finish when Channel 10 broadcast the “live” start at about 11.30 PM.

One would think that Rush Limbaugh stole the nation. Do they have numbers as to how many people actually listen to the weekly radio address? I've never listened.

Perhaps it's as simple as a typo in the transcript, or perhaps, it was altered by Mottram herself, just so Richard Alston had something to actually whinge about. Either way, it really doesn't matter when you're biased, does it?

Niall is in perpetual de-nial!

Ha! They had a typo! Proof at last of a vast left-wing conspiracy!

Unkind, 'By Word'. Looney as some of the 'left' are, not even they would use Niall to present it. But at least, albeit unwittingly, Niall has summed up his philosophy quite well when he tells us, "it really doesn't matter when you're biased, does it?"
