THE COVER PICTURE OF DORIAN GRAY
Time to update this comparison.
Posted by Tim Blair at June 12, 2003 01:06 AMNow it's just cruel to make fun of what even a few years in the Senate could do to anyone. Think what a handsome, rakish sort Teddy Kennedy was when he first started.
Although I will say, when you look at the airbrushed Hillary on the book cover, the title "Living History" does seem to take on new connotations.

Posted by: Cracker Barrel Philosopher at June 12, 2003 at 01:57 AMMan, you need to start posting warnings for some of these pictures. Some of us surf during lunchtime.
Between this and the Wiggles, I'm getting a little leery of follwing your links.
Posted by: Sean E at June 12, 2003 at 05:29 AMAaaaarghhhh.
Damn, Tim, the first link definitely needed to be headed by a warning: caution, the following will be trrifying to view and might induce vomiting.
Ghastly, ghastly.
The second linked helped the old nerves to settle down again, the picture of the Hilasaurus - and, egads, that's disturbing enough.
Well, we now have two creatures which should be extinct: the Hilarsaurus -eats flesh; and the Pilgersaurus, cannibal tastebuds..
The third, the Philipposaurus -tramples on antiques, and pukes all over the airwaveas afterwards.
Check out the cover of Hell To Pay by the late Barbara Olson.

Posted by: Wallace at June 12, 2003 at 03:54 PMOr it's just an old photo. It is a book about her life in the White House. Looks like a photo from that period. Or it can be part of a wider conspiracy if you insist.

Posted by: Journo Dave at June 12, 2003 at 04:07 PMI remember that picture. It was taken shortly after she became a Senator, in the first month or so.
