Is anyone else having trouble registering as a commenter on the new site?

I keep getting an error message: "Invalid page request".

EvilPundit: well, the site (as of this minute) already has over 200 members registered so maybe it's a problem with your connection or something? I've been doing some site tinkering too, but mostly to do with the stylesheet, nothing to do with permissions or anything that would shut down the site momentarily. Keep trying -- if you are still having trouble email me at admin-at-spleenville.com and I'll register you myself.

My FIRST and LAST post to this site ... I saw you mug and love interest in the Sunday Telegraph yesterday ... is it a personalised numberplate on the red MX-5 ... is it P(retty) R(ed) P? 069 ... the 3 digits are self explanatory ... what's the P stand for?

You also got a plug for this Blog in the 2/3 page article, but it mentions this URL ... great timing Tim ... you better get another article written and published about you ... with your new URL featured ... I'm going there now ...

Andrea, I've emailed you at your gmail address, with a suggestion about the Opera browser problem on the new site.

I'll try to register again. I don't know what'sgoing on, as I'm pretty sure I'm doing things right and my connection is usually reliable.

I've tried registering again, in both Firefox and IE, but to no avail. I still get the same error message.

I think the error message is coming from the server. I'm pretty sure my ISP doesn't use a proxy for my connection.

I hit the link and there's nothing but a banner, some ads, a poll and a big white space. This is beginning to look like someone discovered the Internet equivalent of the velvet rope.

I think there might be a few of us having the same issue as Evil Pundit when trying to register:"Invalid page request"

My normal browser is Opera, though it also happens on IE.

The site is there. Scoll down. They are having a serious formatting issue.

I'm getting the invalid page request also. Can't log in, but went to "members" list, and my name is there, but don't seem to be registered.

Curiouser and curiouser. Maybe Andrea is winnowing out the chaff.

"Invalid page request" using both IE and Mozilla. No other problems accessing any other web site or any internet game.

I'll try again in a few days, but if you're convinced that the problem is on "our end", I guess I'll be just reading from now on...
