THEY KILLED HERBIE

You bastards:

Herbert M. Hazelkorn, of Glencoe, Illinois, left us on December 7, 2004, of a broken heart at the recent passing of his wife of 35 years, Bobby, exacerbated by a broken spirit arising from the results of the Presidential election.

Exacerbation.

Go, lawyers!

Thinning the herd.

I wonder if that's really what the guy would have thought, or if we can thank an asshole relative for not being able to keep their political opinions out of a frickin' obituary.

Pheww...

For a minute there I thought some brutish hooligan had gone beserk at the Famous Cars of History Museum and sledge-hammered that delightful little V-Dub.

Their loss - USA's gain.

If anybody gets that upset over an election result, they probably shouldn't be alive in the first place.

What an undignified way to exit--whining about the election. The first thing Jesus probably said to him, after patiently listening to thirty seconds worth of rant was, "Oh, Me, not another one!"

What a cringe-inducing obituary. It'd be amusing if it said, "exacerbated by a broken spirit arising from the failure of his beloved Cubs to win a World Series," but this is just pathetic.

Malcolm J. of Washington DC passed away on December 11th 2004 from hemorrhaging induced by a massive rolling of eyes.

The Australian version of PEST is Post Howard Angry Reaction Trauma, and is milder in form, with many victim support measures available for terminal cases.

No-one has died of it yet.

What address do I send an "I'm Sorry" photo card?

These people do realize they're not making much of a case for themselves for running the country in four years, yes?

This brings to mind Hillary's plug for universal health care when announcing that Clinton would undergo heart surgery. Give. It. A. Rest.

Probably sweet sorrow. Too many simple sugars in it. Get the unrefined brown sorrow, is my advice.

These people do realize they're not making much of a case for themselves for running the country in four years, yes?

If they were capable of realizing that, they wouldn't die of post-election disappointment.

To insert politics into an obituary is trashy, opportunistic, and ignorant.

(Great post Malcolm J!)

Glencoe is an extremely affluent suburb of Chicago. It has a per capita income of $60,000.* That's counting all people including children and the elderly folks. This town sits on the shores of Lake Michigan and have an average home price of $1,063,469. This guy died of complications over white liberal guilt. He was ashamed of his affluence and internalized it. Instead of giving his riches to charity, he blames Bush and croaks.

If his wife was really named Bobby, maybe he was sad about the passage of the referenda outlawing gay marriage in 11 states.

Herbert M. Hazelkorn, of Glencoe, Illinois, left us on December 7, 2004, of a broken heart at the recent passing of his wife of 35 years, Bobby, exacerbated by a broken spirit arising from the results of the Presidential election. And possibly also exacerbated by a broken brain, arising from leaky laughing gas canisters.

In lieu of flowers, Herbert's family request a donation in his name to the American Society of Tragically Broken Dentist Parts.

I haven't laughed this hard at the death of another since Rachel Corrie tried to wrestle that Bulldozer.

You Bush supporters should really be ashamed of yourselves. Thanks to this restolen election, people in the Glencoe area needing dental care will have to do without, or worse, use a dentist in the pay of the Bush-Halliburton regime.

In fact, I would not be surpised if the Bush regime had him knocked off.
