POLITICALLY INCORRECT

Bill Maher, plainly jealous of Bill O'Reilly's recent telephone-related publicity accomplishments, seeks to up the ante:

Loud-mouthed TV host Bill Maher has been slapped with a $9 million palimony suit by an ex-lover who says the comedian reneged on his promise to marry her, have his children and set her up for life in a Beverly Hills mansion.

Nancy "Coco" Johnsen, a former centerfold model and flight attendant, claims Maher, 48, instead subjected her to a torrent of physical and verbal abuse during a fiery 17-month love affair that ended in tears last May.

Maher denies everything.

Maher denies everything...

As he should...

That's a MAN!

Posted by: AuSkeptic at November 13, 2004 at 02:18 AM

"Maher denies everything."....?

Oh, wait!! He'd denying everything about the affair. I get it!

For a minute, I that that "everything" meant "reality". That's when I said "D'oh!"

Posted by: The Real JeffS at November 13, 2004 at 02:24 AM

I was skeptical until the part about the physical and verbal abuse.

Is this who they're talking about? [NOT WORKSAFE]

Posted by: Jim Treacher at November 13, 2004 at 02:42 AM

Gee-awd can you imagine what chicks will do for money that any women would have anything to do with that loser much less put up with his abuse

Posted by: Jack Tanner at November 13, 2004 at 02:50 AM

I feel that there's more to be revealed in this matter, and I for one, call for an
investigation!

Posted by: Wes at November 13, 2004 at 02:51 AM

Wait, there's something wrong here:
...an ex-lover who says the comedian reneged on his promise to...have his children...

Er, what? Who's having whose children? See, this is why you need the trained grammarians of the MSM, rather than those sloppy old bloggers...

Oh. Never mind.

Maher subjects his guests and viewers with a torrent of political and verbal abuse. We all should file a class action acrimony suit.

Posted by: A at November 13, 2004 at 03:04 AM

Like his buddy Clinton, he couldn't finish the job.

Posted by: Rez at November 13, 2004 at 03:04 AM

Not enough coffee mixed with gray matter today:

Dang, Jim, not only is that link NOT WORK SAFE, any male over the age of 40 should have an EKG before viewing the search results.

Posted by: The Real JeffS at November 13, 2004 at 03:50 AM

You know, I'm getting to like the New York Post more and more.

Posted by: Steve in Nashville at November 13, 2004 at 04:13 AM

Wow. What a revelation. Lefties are no better, and much worse, than the rest of us. I've know this since at least 1965.

My question is, just how much fame and fortune is necessary to convert Maher into a babe magnet? I didn't think he had much of either, but Ugly Chic comes into play here, I guess. Man, what a schnozz!

Posted by: Crazy Chester at November 13, 2004 at 04:33 AM

Maher subjects his guests and viewers to a torrent of political and verbal abuse.

Fortunately though, his relationship to his guests and viewers cannot be described as a "fiery love affair". I hope.

Note to self: Never get involved with anyone named CoCo.

Posted by: Wallace-Midland Texas at November 13, 2004 at 04:59 AM

Bill Maher tearfully ended their affair in May? No wonder Mr. Sensitive denies everything.

Posted by: timks at November 13, 2004 at 06:23 AM

That was gonna be my line, Treacher, until I realized CoCo couldn't have two boob jobs, him and one for her and still make a Red State living.

Posted by: Gary at November 13, 2004 at 07:07 AM

Please join me in tears for Bill....

Anyone?

Posted by: EddieP at November 13, 2004 at 08:01 AM

Let that be a lesson to you, gals, stay away from opinionated men with their own television show, radio program and/or website journal/blog or the like. Actually blog fellows probably rarely leave the house, so it's unlikely that anyone would actually meet one.

It is no surprise to me that a left-wing bloke (actually I have never heard of him so I wouldn't know what his politics are) would be as obnoxious as a right-wing one - "bloke" is, after all, the common denominator.

Seriously, when most of us end a semi-serious relationship, the only thing we usually walk away with is a broken heart. I think I will sue to get my Sarah McLachlan CDs and my dignity back.

I'm sorry guys- but I am sick of so called adult women who cannot pick a jerk at 50 paces, many of these these woman have only themselves to blame-they are only after enriching themselves, get the ring, the luxoury house one child and then kick him out and bingo!!!!!
I was blesssed to be brought up in the 50's when if a woman had intercourse before marriage she was thought to be , as my granny so quaintly put it"no better than she ought to be" no, I never fathamed it either but got the gist.
I was fortunate to have had a Christian upbringing (though now agnostic)which at least set some standards, such as waiting for marriage before sex- something my adult kids thinks very quaint however my 'old' boy and I are still together 37 years on, yet they both had realtionships before marriage, married another, and both divorced now very disillusioned. We were wildly impulsive- got engaged within a month of meeting and then spent 14 months saving for our home and living in a high state of tension until we were wed- and boy was it worth the wait. We became firm friends first and even broke off the engagement for a while but decided we were better being miserable together than apart. Not always smooth sailing but neither of us given the other reason to doubt our loyalty.
Amongst the friends of my youth all remain married, but amongst my childrens friends, few have been together for more than 3 years despite living together for up to 7 years before marriage.
Is there a message there?
Very sad for us wanna be grandparents.

Poor CoCo...poor...poor CoCo.

I really detest Bill Mahrer, but it seems he's bieng taken for a ride on this one.

You cant sue someone for not giving you a mansion and kids, and we (and you CoCo) already knew that the guy was an a**hole.

Posted by: Thomas at November 13, 2004 at 11:42 AM

So, a relationship with a centerfold "sista" named CoCo ended badly? I'm shocked.

I bet Bill has tried a few cross-country trips in a 1960's British sports car, too.

Two words, Bill - "high maintenance." I mean, Christ, this is DefCon 1.

Posted by: Dave S. at November 13, 2004 at 05:10 PM

Bill Maher -- CooCoo for CoCo's puffs.

(I'm sorry, that was Treacher's fault for posting the damn link to her pictures...)

Posted by: John at November 14, 2004 at 01:49 AM

Wait, is DefCon 1 the highest, or DefCon 5? Cuz that's what I mean.

Posted by: Dave S. at November 14, 2004 at 01:55 AM

Boy the Blogmire is really scraping the bottom of the barrell for conversation topics now that is unassailably in control of the entire world.

Do you plan to put your overwhelming hegemony to some good use anytime soon, or do we have 4 more years of rehashing the New York Post to look forward to?

C'mon, entertain us.

Posted by: Miranda Divide at November 14, 2004 at 04:24 AM

I googled Coco. Yuck! Dog face, with to hard silicone grapefruits grafted to her chest. Was she his beard? Is the lawsuit suggested by Maher to keep his name in the news or to prove his hetero creds?

Posted by: John at November 14, 2004 at 05:16 AM

I forget, Dave S. Go watch WarGames; that'll walk you through the DEFCON protocol.

Posted by: The Real JeffS at November 14, 2004 at 06:00 AM

What was Coco's name before the sex change? *shudder* I'm sorry, but I like to think I have better taste than that.

What's this "palimony" concept, anyway? You shack up with some bimbette for a while and she's "entitled" to half your stuff?! Just for a poke now and again? Boy, that's a LIBERAL concept. What a miscarriage, er... sorry... abortion of justice that is. (S)he shouldn't be "entitled" to a frickin' dime. Even if I do detest Bill (And after viewing that Google Image Search - which required some Anna K viewing as an antidote - I have less respect than ever for the spaz-tard). Dang. I may have to get serious and view some Angela Little to fully cure this affront to my senses.

Posted by: Bloghorn Bleghorn at November 15, 2004 at 02:16 AM

Well, it's not as though the repulsive Bill Maher could get a date with some nice non-centerfold posing black lady like Condi Rice or even Beyonce Knowles. Or even me. :nausea rises at the thought:

Posted by: Juliette at November 15, 2004 at 08:58 AM

Juliette, I think Bill's problem can be described with one word from your post: "Repulsive". I suspect that he can't get a date, period.
