FACES OF FORGIVENESS II - THE STARING

gothicguy.JPG

Hey, it’s that American Gothic guy!

shock.JPG

The back story here: purple t-shirt man has earlier proposed to sandal-babe on the right, and they’ve decided to visit her folks to tell them the good news. But her parents' house is filled with people demanding he hold a sign denouncing Iraq’s liberation. His eyes scream: "Dear God, what have I done?"

leaders.JPG

This is for commenter Justin Eagle, who wrote: "I didn’t see any signs in favor of Saddam." Read the sign, Justin. Read it out loud so the whole class can hear -- especially the last two words.

legs.JPG

She’s got legs. She knows how to use them.

pukedude.JPG

How many seconds later did the guy on the right puke? a) 5 seconds b) 10 seconds c) 2 seconds

manson.JPG

"The Beatles' White Album told me to make this sign."

UPDATE. Cranky Neocon presents a peacenik Flash tribute. And here are a couple more signs ...

2nd time.

Wrong war, wrong place, wrong time, isn't it ?

Hey, guys, your car is 'Made in China'.
Your toys are 'Made in China'.
Your computer is 'Made in China'.
Your clothes are 'Made in China'.
Your furniture is 'Made in China'.
Most of the electronics in your house are 'Made in China'.

Neither you nor your Prime Minister (Australia) / President (USA) can help.

But at least (and politicians are clever about this), your Prime Minister / President can give you the feeling you people do something great for your country and the WORLD (The Great WORLD) by invading another country which has not developped in his own timeframe and way ?

Regards.

And the funny thing is...they all have French ancestry.

Except for that last guy, whose last name is probably 'Rasputin'.

Oliver,

Are you aware that Mary Cheney is a lesbian?

I thought you should know that.

The leftist men’s faces in the photos all have closed, stern, school-marmish expressions.

Do you think that Ted Kazinsky look-alike actually has "friends" or is that just wishful thinking on this part?

Posted by: Don at October 19, 2004 at 03:55 AM

Where are the last dude's 'friends?'

And the girl in the middle of the third photo down obviously has a devilish imp on her head which makes her quite unsuitable as an angel of peace.

Good morning Tim:-

I see Phillip Adams has given you a special mention today in his parallel universe.

"Howard went on to announce that he'd be seeking therapy for this condition and that Piers Akerman, Christopher Pearson and Tim Blair, among others, would be joining him in truth and reconciliation sessions conducted by Hugh Mackay."

Notice how the kid in the 5th picture has an orange t-shirt. But she isn't kneeling.

Here's my take on it: Kneeling kid, take 2

So is Oliver saying Iraq was the wrong war because we should have invaded China to cut off the imports of cheap goods?

And I must say that "a country which has not developped in his own timeframe and way" is, umm, a novel interpretation of the genocidal kleptocracy that was Saddamite Iraq.

I'm confused. Are these people apologizing for the removal of Saddam Hussein, his sons's deaths, and the destruction of the torture & rape facilities?

Or do just they think Bush should have waved his magic wand & done all that without any use of force?

As for the people whom SH had sentenced to death, who are alive today after all, what should those people think of this "apology"?

Yes.

No; they just don't think the "little brown people" (to use a phrase the lefties trot out quite often) deserve any better than Saddam.
