Staking out new ground on Iraq, Sen. John Kerry said Monday he would not have overthrown Saddam Hussein had he been in the White House

Wait until those juices get flowing again, and we'll probably find out that, in actuality, Kerry would have flown down to Baghdad and personally captured Saddam and overthrown his regime.

(Why am I suddenly reminded of Lloyd Bridges as Pres. Benson in Hot Shots 2...)

Yob's only offering even money. Centrebet's still got Labor at 9/4.

Boris hired Gilligan. Man, the old fool's Anbody But Blair obsession has taken him right off the deep end, hasn't it?

"Our HumVees?" Was Kerry in Iraq? Before or after he was in Cambodia?

Boris is removing all comments that don't say 'pip-pip old boy' (or equivalent).

Maybe it was the families' HumVees. Kerry doesn't have any SUVs except when he's in Detroit.

Sam Ward is disingenious. I'll do the same, and just clear it afterwards against Centrebet for much better odds.

Would those be the Humvees that Kerry voted not to supply with additional fuel, spare parts and armor plating?

Must've been a Hummer or H2, damn Iraq is doing well.

Boris Johnson? And he calls himself Melissa when he posts? I think there are bigger problems here than hiring the skipper's little buddy...

'Sen. John Kerry said Monday he would not have overthrown Saddam Hussein had he been in the White House'

Like no shit .... he'd still be waiting for Kofi to say it's OK.

"Staking out new ground"? Don't they mean "trying to find his own ass on pretty straightforward topics"?

First of all, Ron Fournier was doing a bit of paraphrasing, with his own added twist. Kerry did NOT say that, what he said was:

"Saddam Hussein was a brutal dictator who deserves his own special place in hell," he added. "But that was not, in itself, a reason to go to war. The satisfaction we take in his downfall does not hide this fact: We have traded a dictator for a chaos that has left America less secure."

Secondly, let's put hubcaps right there with OB/GYN's "sharing their love with women all over the country" and let it lie. So what. They are our HumVees- we all shared in the cost of them.

The creator of one of the world's most famous guns, the AK-47 assault rifle, has launched another weapon in Britain -- Kalashnikov vodka.

All I can say is that you are likely to take your life in your hands with a shot of this booze.

And which office in the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms is responsibile for this product -- Alcohol or Firearms?

And I like what Bush said in response to Kerry's chaos comment.

Bush hit back from a campaign rally in New Hampshire, interpreting Kerry's comment to mean the Democrat believes U.S. security would be better with Saddam still in power. "He's saying he prefers the stability of a dictatorship to the hope and security of democracy," the Republican incumbent said.

Emphasis is mine. John Kerry sticks it to himself again.
