When I was stationed in Germany, the appreciation for the American soldier varied with the distance from the then-known-as International German Border....The Wall. The closer to the wall, the more people liked you. This was certainly true in 1982.

I have to wonder where the Iraqi equivalent of the Wall will be.....the Sunni Triangle? The Syrian/Iranian border? Or will it be less physical and more spiritual?

JeffS, it will probably be the Kurdish zone. The closer to that, the more the like.

Does that sentence read properly?

:)

It reads fine, Quentin. And you're probably correct!

The only point on which we're dragging the chain is war trials, so bring it on! Saddam, are you ready? Come on down!!!

Freddtboy, you are spot on

Is the presumption of innocence still required for Saddam?

I don't think so.

March him in, run the trial, shoot him.

Celebratary (sp?) drinks all round - and let a few mags off for good measure if your in Iraq.
