ALLEGED EVIL HOOK-HANDED ONE-EYED HATE PREACHER ARRESTED

Abu Hamza is in custody. The London Sun reports developments leading to his arrest:

Evil hook-handed cleric Abu Hamza was due to be arrested early today.

Police were set to make a pre-dawn raid at his London home.

They planned to hold the hate-filled preacher on terror charges before deporting him for trial in America.

The plot to arrest the hate-filled cleric was hatched by American lawmen.

The Palestinian-born ranter was due to be held on a warrant from the U.S. Department of Justice under new extradition laws.

The arrest marks a spectacular victory for The Sun.

MPs and moderate Muslims have praised our campaign to have the one-eyed hate preacher locked up or booted out of Britain.

Meanwhile, over at the SMH:

An angelic-looking Pakistani woman with a doctorate in neurological science is among seven "dangerous" al-Qaeda terror suspects identified today by the FBI as planners of new attacks on the United States.

Siddiqui is a picture of innocence amongst the dangerous-looking male suspects ...

This crude sexism has no place in a reputable newspaper. Why, I'd cancel my subscription if I hadn't made certain never to take one out in the first place.

Don't you know that its only men who are evil in the world Tim? And white men too.

That's why the left has been so busy morphing Condi Rice into a white man.

The sexism I can live with, but they have unforgivably low standards for what they consider constitutes 'angelic-looking'.

She has a head like a robbers dog, who cares what she looks like, its her actions that define her.

Why do they feel sorry for her, ah I forgot, shes planning to attack the US so thats Ok in the SMH eyes.

Posted by: Nuffy at May 27, 2004 at 06:12 PM

Uh, she looks pretty "dangerous" to me. That "thousand-yard stare" is one tipoff. The cold dead gaze of a psychopath.

Posted by: gnotalex at May 27, 2004 at 06:13 PM

Uh Tim? Could you not take out a subscription for me
too? Thanks in advance Mike.

Evil hook-handed cleric Abu Hamza was due to be arrested early today.

As a faintly greeny pinko lefty type, allow me to say:

Fucking good.

Shoot him.

"This crude sexism has no place in a reputable newspaper. "

Your point being?

Posted by: donnyc at May 27, 2004 at 06:14 PM

umm, I think you missed the point on the SMH story. The reason the SMH pointed out her looks was not because she was innocent or even good looking, but that she didn't fit the mold of the terrorist we look for. We'd be far more suspicious of an arab with a beard with a funny hat hanging around a nuclear power plant taking photos. We'd be less so of an innocent looking female with an "angelic face". I don't think the point was to say that a woman couldn't be a terrorist, rather we don't think of women as terrorists. That's why the FBI was at pains to point out that she's dangerous, simply because she doesn't look like an "evil-doer".

what is wrong with U all she is hotty!

What I will never understand is why that good looking devil Hook Hands was not feeding the fishes at the bottom of the English Channel months ago.

The Kray Twins would have broken out the Shooters and made him very 'brown bread' for threatening their 'manor' i.e. the whole of England.

Posted by: Dog at May 27, 2004 at 06:41 PM

It was the hook hand that gave him away to The Sun. Just as well he didn't have a hunchback also.

Posted by: narkynark at May 27, 2004 at 07:04 PM

Altogether now:

He was a one-eyed, hook-handed, alleged evil hate preacher,
(one-eyed, hook-handed alleged evil hate preacher)
A one-eyed hook-handed alleged evil hate preacher
Sure looked strage to me.

(Sung to the tune of Purple People Eater.

Rowan, she's not dangerous; this angel-faced neuro-scientist is merely deemed "dangerous" by the FBI.

I've been reading about Abu Hamza, off and on for a couple of years via the UK online papers. Pretty nasty looking and speaking.

I'm glad the UK can finally get him out of the country .. BUT WHY DOES HE HAVE TO COME TO THE US? If he's wanted in Yemen, let's send him there first. After all, he was wanted in Yemen before the US ever wanted him. If Yemen can't keep him confined to jail for whatever his crimes are, then we can have a go at it.

I can just imagine all the nutzos in the US taking up 'the cause' for good Ole Hook! It's not worth the bother unless Yemen can't convict him.
He's been a pain in the a## for the Brits and now he'll become our pain in the a##.

I bet Amnesty International will take up his cause since he's coming to a country with such a terrible reputation for human rights abuses. The ACLU will provide great lawyers for this creep, free of charge.

Did they ever pin the rap on Hamza for the murder of Helen Kimble?

Brendon: Good on you. Pinko lefties like you, we can do business with.

Siddiqui, a 'picture of innocence'?

What a joke. She looks like a Pakistani Aileen Wuornos.

Posted by: Byron_the_Aussie at May 27, 2004 at 11:28 PM

Good for the UK, arresting that religious puke!

And I don't mind bringing him to the USA. We can throw him in the same cell as Terry Nichols.

Any chick who went to MIT cannot be considered good looking.

Posted by: Yan at May 28, 2004 at 12:37 AM

"An angelic-looking Pakistani woman ..."

If that's what angels look like in SMH-world, that's a world I don't even want get anywhere near.

Now it they'd wrote "A spawn-of-Satan-looking Pakistani women ...", I'd say that the SMH and I pretty much live in the same world.

Posted by: David Crawford at May 28, 2004 at 02:23 AM

"An angelic-looking Pakistani woman ..."

QUICK, someone help me. I must alert the SMH! You see, one of those female US troops involved in that prisoner abuse scandal in Iraq was quite "angelic-looking", in my opinion. The SMH would want to petition immediately to have her set free...

Now all thats left to do is put him in a wheelchair and fire a missile at him. I can only dream

Does she look anything at all like those 72 virgins promised to suicide bombers? Maybe the picture should be more widely distributed, say, in Palestine. Might slow up recruiting.

About time.

The guy looks like a terrorist from Central Casting!

Posted by: PJ at May 28, 2004 at 03:06 AM

One distressing fact: under EU Law extradition cannot occur unless the extraditing country pledges not to apply the death penalty on conviction. So at best we'll have this scumbag taking up a jail cell and possibly becoming a bargaining chip for some hostage-taking terrorists. He needs to 'fall down' at least fifteen flights of stairs, pronto.

If being white or being a man is so bad why does Michael Jackson want to become both but despite spending millions of dollars cannot convincingly display any characteristics of either?

Can we arrange an "escape" at 35,000 ft. over mid-Atlantic?

Posted by: mojo at May 28, 2004 at 05:54 AM

Angelic looking Pakistani?
They aint gonna like that comparison in Islamoworld

Posted by: yoy at May 28, 2004 at 06:40 AM

David Gillies - has Britain ceded itself to EU law yet? I was under the impression they hadn't taken that final step yet, much to Polly "Nigerian email scam? Wot?" Toynbee's chagrin.

But I could be wrong.

Anyway, apparently Britain and the US have a recently implemented extradition agreement with us. I think that's what's allowed this action.

That's what happens when you spend too much time within eyeshot of Margo. Compared to the Margoyle, Satan himself is angelic-looking.
