PEACE PROTEST UPDATE

Some people don’t need a giant puppet or a sign to make their point:

Jose Perez, a 39-year-old Gulf War veteran, dealt with protesters on Saturday about as effectively as anyone can. He was in Fayetteville, N.C., home of Fort Bragg, to counter-demonstrate against antiwar protesters.

"Here's the thing. We're right and they're wrong," Perez said.

He does sum it up nicely, doesn't he?

But it isn't about being "right" or "wrong." It's about puppies and flowers and singing Kum Ba Ya.

We're right and they're wrong

How simplistic!

A more nuanced view would be that they're right and he's wrong.

"As one war protester walked by, Perez told him to get a haircut and join them."

"It was as if Osama bin Laden, hidden in some high mountain redoubt, were engaging in long-range mind control of George Bush, chanting 'invade Iraq, you must invade Iraq.'"
-- former NSC counterterrorism chief Richard Clarke

It was as if we had this plan for regime change in Iraq, sitting on the back burner since the Clinton administration which Clarke also served. . .

The coincidental events of the services in Madrid and the venom of hate spouted by the suppoters of Yassin is a lesson to us.
The calm, serene, solemn ceromonies of Madrid contrast in a almost surrealist way with the viscious hatred towards israel, America and the west for the removal of a man who has the blood of hundreds on his hands (including some of his own people.)
what conclusions can be drawn from this extreme contrast ?
That we are civilised people and they are a horde of barbarians ?
WRONG ,. that we should have two hundred reasons to be more angry than the Palestinians !
That we whould get out from behind our computer screens, our televisions , our washing machines and protest at the horrors of Islamist slaughter wherever and whenever it occurrs in the world.
we should protest in Melbourne , in Sydney in Brisbane etc and show that we have had enough and we will back our government to the hilt in its fight against the terror of Islam.
It matters not if the attacks are in spain 'bali, indonesia . sudan or france or england. We must show our solidarity for all victims of Islamic terror.
We must show that we reject the arguments of the appeasers in no uncertain terms and that we consider them traitors ot Australia . Great Britain and the rest of Europe.
Why is it that we tolerated and did not respond to the demos of the Marxist and newleftists lst week with a much larger one, to show our resolve ?
It is time to act. It is time to show our silent majority identity to the world and some of the pathetictc organisations we call the news media.
