Osama bin Laden is more intellectual and more knowledgable than John Howard. Who says so? “Renowned international peace scholar” Johan Galtung, who appeared on Monday’s Late Night Live with Phillip Adams. Professor Bunyip has all the highlights, including Galtung’s claim that the Bali bombing was brought about by Australian pedophiles. Read and be amazed.

Should Mr bin Laden wish to contact Professor Galtung to thank him for his kind words, then I suppose he could do so by email (, telephone (+618 9266 4054) or fax (+618 9266 3818). If he is still alive, that is.

Even in the US, we know that it's uncouth to criticize pedophiles. And, you're supposed to distinguish those who like pre-adolescents from those who like post-adolescents.

Is Mr. Galtung one of the foreign leaders supporting Mr. Kerry?

IXLLLXXTHSNJDJSJSJK - where is your quick wit when we need it?

If I can get that transcript it will serve me well. I can think of no better regurgitant - unbelievable to realise that we pay for this rubbish albeit not voluntarily.

Ahh an admirer. For only through mimicry can we be most admired.

As to praising Osama. He's dead. Died. A nothing. Not a matyr. Just another dead Saudi.

But if someone should have been praised. It would be those fine soldiers at the School of the Americas who trained him to do such fine work.

IXL#2 gets gold stars for the sly recreation of IXLPISS's ingenious Google statical comparisons. :)

Wait...a couple of threads back you were saying he wasn't dead. Flip-flop! yeeehaaaw

Don't know about OBL, but even my pet cat is more intellectual and more knowledgable than John Howard.

And she really is dead.

who is this white commo coon?

Posted by: Cugel at March 17, 2004 at 05:09 PM

Obviously no one cares about these personal attacks and dead cats.

The real issue is that I am right.

Posted by: Memesis at March 17, 2004 at 05:22 PM

Dunno bout that Nemesis, but my pet cat certainly shows more political insight than you. That's the truth - no hyperbole, honest!

Yes Osama (Allah be praised)is smarter than John Howard because...(a) Osama (his name be praised) states that women are not equal to men and should be prohibited from driving cars and showing their faces in public (Allah forbid!. Evil Howard accepts that some brazen hussy females may want to drive a car and appear uncovered in public (Allah forbid!) (b) Osama believes that homosexuals are an obomination in the eyes of Allah (be praised) and that they should be stoned with rocks until they be dead. Dhimmi Howard accepts that homosexuals should not be put to death like the dogs they are. (c) Osama (be praised) believes that Islam (Allah be praised) is a higher authourity than the State. Fool Howard believes in the separation of church and state. (d) Osama (be praised) believes that thieves shall have their hands cut from them in punishment for their crimes. Dhimmi Howard rules a society where criminals do not have their limbs rendered from them. THIS is why Osama (be praised) is smarter than John Howard.

And here's me thinking we brought Bali upon ourselves with our "jagged Strine accent".

No wonder the left is siding with BL, he's an intellectual.

I do give some credence the pedophile comment though. I remember reading stories in newspapers even before Sept. 11 about child molesters from various European countries and Canada going to impoverished Asian countries to act out their fantasies. It was like some kind of tourist package, you know... transportation, 10 nights and all meals included, and tips on where to find the best children.

Not many commentators link the war against our civilization with it's postmodern state of debauchery. Maybe there's nothing there but onece in awhile somebody says something that points to this and it's either dismissed out-of-hand or in most cases ignored. Wouldn't want to go there would we? The left has finally found a "root cause" it doesn't want to address.

As Andy Freeman said above "Even in the US, we know that it's uncouth to criticize pedophiles." There's a pattern there Andy and you don't have to be an intellectual to notice it. Shut down the criticism first then start negotiating the level of acceptance. Works every time.

“Renowned international peace scholar” Johan Galtung

I can't wait to read Andrew Bolt's editorial on this over-tenured piece of shit.

If pedophilia is really the issue, all al Qaeda has to do is to direct their attacks with a little bit more discrimination and accuracy.

I'd support an al Qaeda anti-pedophile campaign, although I wouldn't give up the anti-al Qaeda campaign.

Oh, I get it! I get it! If you have enough college degrees and your ideology is parallel in ANY respect to the academic left's (say, you hate America and Jews) than it doesn't MATTER how many people you massacre!
You know, this explains the AcaLeft's support for Pol Pot and Lenin, too.

I managed to get a rise out of Herr Doktorprofessor Galtung.

In a class where he was a guest lecturer, I suggested that his and the Euro-Left's discomfort with the United States was due, in no small part, to the reality that the fate of Europe (and much of the world) had shifted from Paris-Berlin-London to the peripheries, i.e., to Moscow and Washington. (This was when there was still a USSR and a Cold War.)

Galtung became quite animated, and made it clear that only ignorance could have motivated such a statement.
