CLARK FAN INACCURACY ALLEGED

Remember Michael Moore’s comment that the September 11 passengers were too reserved and timid to fight their attackers? Turns out the fat bastard is wrong again:

The widow of a Gulf War veteran aboard doomed United Airline Flight 175 revealed for the first time yesterday that passengers tried to stop hijackers from crashing the plane into one of the Trade Center towers.

"I might have to hang up quickly, we're going to try to do something about this," Brian Sweeney reportedly said in a cell phone call to his mother.

"Okay," Louise Sweeney said. "Do what you have to do."

Moore is probably too busy at his new job to find time for an apology.

Nothing that man says is worth a damn thing anyway. To hell with him.

Who is he to criticise their response anyway? How do any of us know how we would react in a situation like that? Given what was known about past hijacking experiences, it probaly would have seemed like a good idea at the time to fully co-operate with the hijackers.

I would say that Moore needs to walk a mile in someone elses shoes but as we all know, he's never walked a mile in his life and there aren't a pair of shoes big enough to fit.

Moore was already proved wrong before he even said that. By the men on Flight 73.

No one can accuse Michael Moore of being like a stopped clock because he doesn't seem to be right even twice a day. His fans don't really care about his accuracy, though...just that he says things that they want to believe really loudly.

Those poor bloody pigs... they aren't going to stand a chance at the trough.

Randal drop the "l" from clock and you get an accurate description of the obese liar.

Wow Tim. Thanks. You wanna maybe move this to the top of the page for a little while?

What do you expect from Michael Moore? He's as fictional as all his claims.

Thats was dump what Michale Moore said, and I just don't get it, But you know what, I've heard dumber things regarding 9/11. Remember Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell saying this was "GOD's doing and punishment for our sins"? That was pretty stupid. Now both of them have said other dump things too, but have done some good thngs too. So has Michael Moore. "Roger & Me" was a great movie that really hits home then as well as now in the age of outsourcing.

That doesn't excuse what he said, but it shouldn't diminsh the good work he has done also.

Michael Moore: nothing but a paper cut on the finger of life!

What's he working as- a taste tester?

Posted by: Habib at March 10, 2004 at 10:58 AM

Or perhaps an inseminator?

"But do you think that if there had been 90 African Americans passengers they'd have just sat there?"

- Michael Moore, on the 9-11 hijackings

"Well, as we all know, Todd "Let's Roll" Beamer was black. And even if he wasn't, whatever statue New York erects in his honor will most likely correct that mistake."

- Laurence Simon, on Michael Moore's comment

Kerry deserves Fat Tongued Michael Moore in his campaign team, they are identical excpet that the former manged to marry an heiress who is a rag anyway.

Waddya mean it "turns out the fat bastard is wrong again"?

What about the famous "Let's roll!"?

We've known that some of the passengers had a go at the terrorists almost from the day itself.

As to why MM continues to lie (or is he just clueless?) who can say? Perhaps he's just following the example of his leaders.

Heh heh, tell that to his face and he'll sue you for libel, Nem.

Paul--As for Moore, Robertson and Falwell... Any good they accidentally do in their quest for money and fame is a mere coincidence. Their true natures are revealed in those dumb comments.
