BILL'S LAW

Usually the residents of Sydney’s ultra-sensitive Balmain would never dream of imposing their brutal western values upon sainted Muslim immigrants. There comes a point, however, when a line must be drawn:

To all Iraqi Australians, even toy guns are inappropriate as symbols of celebration here in Australia.

Bill Moore, Balmain, December 16.

We await Bill’s thoughts on other unacceptable cultural practices, such as sewing mouths shut.

Of course they would get slapped down for a worthy cause that the loony left opposes.

Flag burnings for the 25th anniversary of Muammar Kaddafi's Green Book? Rock on!

Female genital mutilation on Osama bin Laden's birthday! Good on ya!

Celebrating the capture of the greatest mass murderer alive? Hey, leave off, mate. Can't have any of that...

Hang on, they're *Iraqi* Australians. They're happy about something the West (well, portions of it anyway) has done. Now, if they had been Palestinian Australians and they were celebrating the deaths of any Americans or Israelis, well, Fire Away!

Hang on a minute. I thought guns are illegal or extremely regulated in Australia. How can they fire them into the air?

Sandy P. askes, "Hang on a minute. I thought guns are illegal or extremely regulated in Australia. How can they fire them into the air?"

Ah, but he was complaining about toy guns. So they presumably weren't firing the guns in the air, they were shaking them and saying "Bang, bang", or perhaps pulling the trigger and making a loud clicking sound.

We'll have none of that, now.

Ha ha! If this doesnt' reveal the multi-culturalists for the frauds they are ... oh, wait, they've already revealed themselves so that any rational person would already know that.

Just the irrational folks are left - and this won't make a damn of difference.

But it still make me laugh, so cool!

Brock

PS - Has anyone tried locking a multi-cult to a chair and forcing them to explain their own contradiction? Can they do this, or just insist that you're Satan?

See, the point wasn't actually guns as such, its just that to the average Balmain resident that he gun is a phallic symbol, wielded presumably, by male youths. This is reflective of the gender roles IMPOSED upon their children and is thus clearly unacceptable.

Be muslims yes, though if you display american aggression in a sexist manner, well, you'll have to answer to the residents of Balmain. Now if the rifle had been a Russian or Chinese gun, that would be a different matter entirely.

I was in a busy doctor's waiting room recently. Along with the usual bunch of well-thumbed magazines, there was a children's toy box containing, among other items, a plastic pistol. A child, about three, picked out the gun and proceeded to walk around the surgery 'shooting' all the patients. Then the doctor came out and the kid shot him too. Balmain? Never heard of it.

Brock, the closest I've ever come to forcing a multiculti to explain her contradiction was when I questioned my sociology prof in office hours about the theory of cultural capital.

There is such a thing as TRUE multiculturalism, without the patronizing attitude of "bringing light and truth to those poor benighted little colored people". True multiculturalism is in my fridge, where Portuguese linguica sausage sits next to a jar of gefilte fish and a bottle of tabasco sauce-- all of the above are favorites of my Filipino husband. THAT's true multiculturalism. The literal melting pot.

The resemblance between Bill and screeching cicadas on a still, hot night is uncanny.
