CUTTING ETCH

Check out this image of Stan Zemanek, currently on the front page at the Sydney Morning Herald site. Compare it to the original. Man, that’s gotta be the worst deep-etch of all time.

In other SMH news: Margo Kingston has got religion.

UPDATE. In a new thumbnail image, the SMH has fixed Stan’s head.

Margoid was spot on when she said that there was NO MEDIA at the school's church service that she attended!

What a hide she has "No media. Such a relief that the Church decided not to publicise the event. No outer eye - exploitative or otherwise - to milk it, sentimentalise it or reduce it to just another 'package'."

What then is her piece about? What a hypocrite.

I think she's got worse since she found God - certainly more verbose.

She admits she's a loner, but doesn't know why. Because of your intellectual halitosis, Margo.

Thank God, I don't go to mass anymore. And I can now excuse myself to Father by borrowing from Groucho: "I don't want to be in a church that would have me, and more particularly, Margo, as a member.''

> I lost my belief when my teacher didn't answer my question: "If God tells us not to murder why did he kill all all those people by flooding the river after Moses crossed it with the chosen people?"

Uh, maybe, just maybe, because "all those people" were armed soldiers intent on slaughtering thousands of unarmed men, women and children, or at least taking them back into slavery.

Think of it as Malcolm X's "By any means necessary". Robert Corr and others could probably justify it easily, except that the beneficiaries of this particular protective action were Jews.

My sister lost her religion when the parish priest put a blanket ban on Saturday afternoon weddings in September when Carlton were in the finals.
