Running a political blog with comments and then banning people who civilly disagree with the views expressed is pretty loserish behaviour, in my opinion.

Apart from anything else, it tends to give the impression that you believe that your readers will be more persuaded by the commenter than by you.

"Miranda" hasn't been "civilly disagreeing" for some time now. But then again, you and I have already figured out that we both have different ideas of what "civil" means.

Perhaps it would be a little easier to take seriously the conception of "civil" behaviour that you apply to others if you were able to live up to it yourself.
