WITHDRAW THE TROOPS

Another two occupying soldiers have been killed by resistance fighters. Incredibly, despite this obvious evidence of a looming quagmire, the government has dismissed the attack as an “isolated act by disaffected former rebels.”

The Ivory Coast is the world's largest producer of cocoa, which just happens to be a key ingredient in chocolate, which (surprise, surprise) is a dietary staple of, you guessed it, the French.

A coincidence? Now who's being naive?

It's all about chocolate!

No blood for chocolate.

Merde to france or Delanda este or something to that effect. As an American, I don't confuse myself with witty adages, I just want France to pay.

Your cocoa is nothing without our sugar cane. But I rather think France would invade Jamaica before trying it here.

Heh. They're welcome to try it. It would be a good chance for them to test out the Charles de Gaulle. Heh heh.

What makes them 'former rebels'?
