It does look nice. Tim, if you can, let him know that he seems to be having the same "scroll" problem as another blog I've visited (Mr. Hassle's Long Underpants). I'll just quote her explanation of the problem and the fix:

Some versions of Explorer won't let you scroll past the bottom of my sidebar. To fix this, go to View-)Text Size and choose a different size. You can go back to the original size and it should stay fixed.

Yup, the design sure is great.....

Hitting F11 twice also fixes the display error, and will save you a few clicks from the whole text sizing thing.

Analogue, it's true the design is based on a standard Blogger template, but I'm slowly modifying the code (and learning XHTML as I go). It's only been two days so far, I have some way to go.

I'll add a comments capability when I reach that level of sophistication -- until then, replying here is the best I can do.
