AGE WRITER CONVERTS TO CAPITALISM

This is cool. Age writer Nathan Cochrane has picked up a sweet half a million bucks in a quiz show. And he’s sticking with his day job, among Australia’s most complainy, leftoid, anti-wealth journalists, who generally only inherit that kind of dough. Man, the hostile looks he’ll get!

Is it just me or has the Age not completely lost touch with reality since Baghdad fell. They are rapidly becoming as left wing as the ABC. I renewed my subscription recently but in retrospect I could have managed without their excellent sports coverage, crosswords and world news. I can't stand that nauseating feeling you get when faced yet again with Kenneth Davidson, Hugh Mackay, Morag Fraser, Ray Cassin et al.

Professor Bunyip (http://bunyip.blogspot.com/) might rail against Margo and Co at the SMH but the Age has risen to the occasion now leaves them for dead.

I suspect you are correct and (not so) poor old Nathan will get the Lemon and Sars pretty soon.
