There’ll be not much bloggin’ from me in coming days. Tax bills are due, and money work must be done.

While I'm gone, go check out all the recommended sites to your left. Or, if you’re reading this page upside down as a radical means of combatting your dyslexia, to your right.

Hurry back Tim. Blogosphere is not the same without you in it.

We in the U.S. have a wonderful tool at our disposal...the tax Extension©. The foundation of our moral code. "Never do today, that which can be put off until tomorrow".

showing some thigh at the tunnel exits for that extra cash, eh tim?

I've just had lunch Mr. Bingley, please!

I always read your site upside down because you're in the Southern Hemisphere. Wasn't that what I was supposed to do?

Your pal,

San Diego, CA, USA

P.S. It makes much more sense that way!

Will we see you down at the Wall, cracking it Tim ?

So amusing to see that you have arranged to ban people from your little dinner this week. What a joke, you give a speech to bash the ABC over so called bias and then don't want anyone there who might take issue with your words of hate.

So nice to see that really you are just a proto NAZI in waiting.

At the end of the day Tim Blair is a very nasty piece of work who only likes to have people in his presence that worship his politics of hate.

Just remember Mr Tim Blair not ever white person in this country is a right wing dog like you on the make with your cheap lines of hate.

Your decision to not allow certain people to attend your little speech at the American Club just shows how full of it you are. I dare you to stand up in the American Club and say I have banned certain people from attending this speech tonight as they might not agree with me.

So much for free speech. More like just another round of hate speech from another leading example of a stupid white man.

White Bread

Clever boy can you fetch sticks to?.

Posted by: Gary at July 28, 2003 at 08:25 PM

What the hell? I haven't banned anyone. The Quadrant people decided to keep the media away, which, as a private organisation, is their right. I'm only a guest speaker; this has nothing to do with me.

(Note to people confused by this exchange: I'm speaking at a Quadrant dinner this Wednesday at the America Club in Sydney. They've told the press to keep out. Their decision.)

Posted by: tim at July 28, 2003 at 09:17 PM

And you're so upset that no one other than the right wing elite will be there to cheer you on.

And since when do media organizations start banning other journalists from attending their events citing we're a private organization.

My arse, your mates at Quadrant are a private organization. They are the public face of a very nasty group of people who have a very nasty agenda.

Moreover, if no media are allowed what the fuck are you doing there, along with all those other pretend hacks who hang around Quadrant.

Or are you finally going to admit that you aren't a real journalist anymore but just a head kicker for those that deem themselves politically right.

Face facts Timmy boy, the last thing you want on Wednesday night is anyone in the crowd that does not worship the ground you walk on.

Enjoy your night in lights bashing the ABC for not saying what you want. Given that the right wing led by the evil empire control virtually every other media group in Australia, it's only right that you ensure that the ABC becomes nothing more than the Ministry of Propaganda for the nasty little right wing nation you so much want Australia to become.

damn, white bread, you need some whole wheat fiber to clean that system out; you're way too constipated, dude.

Posted by: Mr. Bingley at July 28, 2003 at 10:50 PM

Er, the speech will be made available, Bready. The night is a private deal, though. Like your house. May I barge in whenever I please?

Posted by: tim at July 28, 2003 at 11:19 PM

don't forget to wear your jackboots, tim...

Posted by: Mr. Bingley at July 28, 2003 at 11:30 PM

you mean the night is an elite gathering of the politically right who have invited you to bitch about the one major media organization the politically right don't yet control.

when the chairman of the ABC finally does break with his old mate Howard, are you and your fellow political right thugs going to smear him as well.

let's face it Tim you are going along to an evening of politically powerful people to gloat about the great power struggle you think you have all won.

And just to show the team that your gang of political elites knows no bounds in your culture wars you have collectively moved to declare war against the one significant media organization that is not a fawning supporter of the new politically right.

Posted by: White Bread at July 29, 2003 at 12:27 AM

"Politically powerful"? Why, that's crazy talk! I've just seen the list of attendees, and only about half of them have ever had senior cabinet roles. A few of them aren't ever millionaires!!

All this white bread is making me hungry. Top sandwich suggestions:

Chicken, avocado, roasted red pepper, lettuce and mayo.

Red salmon, shredded green onion, tomato, mayo.

Maybe if we start making Mr White Bread sound rational, like he's actually thinking about what he's writing, he'll go away, just like Bon Scott.

Posted by: White Bread at July 29, 2003 at 12:37 PM

I prefer whole wheat myself.

Posted by: Andrea Harris at July 29, 2003 at 02:14 PM

There is only one sandwich.

White bread.
Hot roast pork.
A little cracklin'.

Enjoy with a cold lager.

White Bread cannot be President of the EU because he called Tim a Nazi. Or does that only count if you call Germans Nazis?
