OVEN MITT NAMED

US restaurant chain Arby’s has adopted the Australian Naming Rules.

I thought the Australian Naming Rules stated that everyone and everything had to be named "Bruce."

What about "Walter Mitty"?
An Australian version would have to be named "The Parrot", in recognition that a certain broadcaster also does his best work with someone's hand wedged up his clacker.

The counter side to this is that foriegn names often mistify the Australians.

Americans eat something called Buffalo Wings. The immediate Aussie reaction is "Bullshit, Buffalo don't have wings." In Australia they would be called chicken wings and that's that.

Umm, Patrick, Buffalo Wings come from Buffalo, New York. The name has nothing to do with the animal.
