COURT ROOM CAPERS

Laugh it up, funny guys:

Confessed Bali bombers Mukhlas and his younger brothers Amrozi bin Nurhasyim and Ali Imron laid on a comic turn in court yesterday, but it was a performance that failed to impress the Australians in the gallery.

Melbourne sisters Samantha and Leanne Woodgate, both horrifically burned in the bombings last year, watched the alleged terrorists' antics with stony faces. "I suppose when you see them laughing it does make you angry, because you can see there's no remorse," Samantha said.

I’m now opposed to the death penalty. I’d prefer a torture penalty.

I'd be against the death penalty in this case, only because it's so much better than Amrozi et al. deserve. What swineherds.

Personally I believe the punishment should fit the crime - Put Amrozi et. al. in a room, detonate a bomb and let them die over several weeks in a hospital like what they did to the others... Any objections?

Jake Ryan spoke for most of us, I think:
"You're going to die, you fuck!"
Cheers, Jake, you will never have to buy a drink in this town.

Tim, we can have the cake and eat it too. The old hang until not quite dead, revive, quarter and draw, routine.Bring it back. Petition your m.p. now.

"I’d prefer a torture penalty."

Sick, Tim, sick.

Bon Scott, puking (`sick..Sick) on that pair of blowfly food is no punishment. You must be a wussy B.S.

Oooh yes, let's all flog our logs over the prospect of torture, death and execution... from the safety of our computer keyboards.

So very brave.

B.S. if that turns you on, flogging the log over you keyboard, is your business.I don't want to read about it.

No - from your posts, d, I can see you prefer actions to words.

Posted by: Bon Scott at July 11, 2003 at 01:03 PM

Trolling again Bon? Good to see you maintain your standards. So how would you punish the bombers?

Posted by: Jake D at July 11, 2003 at 01:49 PM

I'm still agin the Death Penalty. What to do with them? Put them in a nice little cell in some remote place with 100 years worth of water, food, and air, brick it up, and forget them.

The appropriate sentence for these crimes, is, as it always was, the sentence that was applied for High Treason from the age of Henry VIII to 1814 (when it was finally abolished in Northern Ireland), namely:

..that they should be drawn on a hurdle to the place of execution and there be hanged by the neck, but not until they are dead, but that they should be taken down again, and that when they are yet alive their bowels should be taken out and burnt before their faces, and that afterwards their heads should be severed from their bodies, and their bodies be divided into four quarters, and their heads and quarters to be at the King's disposal...

Now that's justice!

EIR,

What good is dividing the body into 4 quarters (three is too few, five is too many, two is nowhere near enough) *after* the head is severed from their bodies? And why should the King be left with disposing of the body?
