Let's just let people get killed over there because we sell a lot of stuff to their country and so to intervene would be imperialistic.

Bloody trade. People buying products they want from people who want to sell them. The nerve!

Sure, you can overthrow the Japanese tyrants in an illegal war, without the big thumbs-up from the UN Security Council, but can you win the PEACE? We need more troops on the ground. FDR tricked us into that war with his Tonkin Gulf/Pearl Harbor/Day-o-Infamy talk. And the coconut looting! The holy fucking horror of it all!
