From Mark Steynís mailbag, a rare example of Canadian unilateralism:

Hi Mark,

Are you coming back to the National Post? I'm getting so many requests from our readers, and I can't get an answer from our editorial.

Daniel Morse
Customer Service
National Post Online

And Steynís reply:

If you canít get an answer from Editorial, you might try asking the Accounts Department. They stopped paying me before I actually left. What did they know and when did they know it?

Any newspaper director dumb enough to let Steyn walk away should be flogged in public.

Mark is better off gone. Post is about to shut down. it is losing money and readers, and has turned into Canada's most laughed at philanthropy project. Mark is too cool for that.
