KAMU MATI

He’s not smiling much these days:

Alleged Bali bomber Amrozi shifted uncomfortably in his swivel chair yesterday as the prosecutor in his trial called for the death sentence to be passed for his role in the October 12 attacks.

Just in case Amrozi didn’t get the message:

As Amrozi was being led from the court, Spike Stewart, from Werribee, stood and shouted "Amrozi!".

Catching Amrozi's glance, he then shouted in Bahasa Indonesia, "Kamu mati (You're dead)". He followed with "Bastard" as Amrozi was taken away.

Stewart’s son was among those killed in the Bali bombing.

We need a new beer fund! Especially seeing as how he comes from my home town.

Hey - my home town too. I'm ex-Werribee Primary (PS 649).

Tim, how about we set up a joint party all around the world when these pricks get the bullet. I can think of many many reasons for a celebration, but I think this will top the lot.

Sorry, hit button too early. Meant to say - I can't think of a better way to send these murderous fucks off to hell than to indulge in the very actions they condemned. Filling the air with the smell of beer, the sound of people having a good time and generally not giving two shits for these wankers.

You folks sound like some blood-thirsty Yanks!

Can't we all just get along? And look for that "root cause" thingy?

Its odd that security steps in to hustle away Stewart and others but allow Amrozi et al to rant & chant each time they appear.

And so say all of us, Mr Stewart....

but they grind exceeding fine...

Where's Saddam's shredder when you really need it?

We've already found the root cause, John... it's that these terrorists are a bunch of insane fundamentalist misogynist bigots.

Happy Day, another piece of scum soon to be cleaned off the surface of civilisation.I'll celebrate with a few glasses of fine scotch, and you don't drink the best of liquid gold for no good reason , only for pleasure.

I think Judge Roy Bean said it best:

"... in a few short weeks it will be spring. The snows of winter will flow away, the ice will vanish, the air will become soft and balmy. The annual miracle of the years will awaken and come to pass.

But you will not be there.

The rivulet will run its soaring course to the sea. The timid desert flowers will put forth their tender shoots. The glorious valleys in this imperial domain will blossom as the rose.

Still you will not be there.

From every treetop, some wildwood songster will carol his mating song. Butterflies will sport in the sunshine. The gentle breeze will tease the tassels of the wild grasses and all nature will be glad.

But you will not be there to enjoy it.

Because I command the sheriff of the county to lead you away to some remote spot, swing you by the neck from a knotting bough of some sturdy oak and let you hang until dead.

And then, I further command that such officer retire quickly from your dangling corpse, that vultures may descend from the heavens upon your filthy body until nothing is left but the bare, bleached bones of a cold-blooded, blood-thirsty, throat-cutting, murdering S.O.B."

He's not smiling?

Everybody, say it with me:

"Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww."

I don't know if they say it in Aussieland, but most judges in the US tack on a very nice line onto the pronouncement of the death sentence, one that'd make Mr. Amrozi blanch: "...and may God have mercy on your soul."

That's it. No virgins. No raisins. No date trees. Perfect.
