JIG OFFICIALLY UP

Olympic curler George Karrys didnít believe that journalists were anti-US and anti-Israel ... until the war in Iraq. In a letter to Mark Steynís site, he writes regarding Hamza Hendawi:

When a rock-tossing amateur athlete can spend less than 15 minutes on the web confirming a writer's humiliating legacy of bias, after reading one of his stories for the first time, then ya gotta know the jig is up.

Fact-checked by a rock-tosser. Excellent.

There is a nice little example of bias down at the ol' ABC website. http://www.abc.net.au/public/s875738.htm

Gotta love the "Government has come UNDER FIRE" title.

I wrote about it on my new blog (http://randomprose.journalspace.com/) as well so check it out.

I'm glad the Internet allows rock-tossers to fact-check biased journalists. I just wish biased journalists tossed their rocks less.

Oops. Sorry for the repeat.

No disrespect to Mr. Karrys intended, but can any two words better express the sorry state of the Olympics than "Olympic curler"? I suppose
if "ballroom-dancer" can be considered one word ...
