COMMIE LADY

The New York Post’s Page Six column reports:

Barbra Streisand is back on her soapbox. The diva is urging "blacks and Jews" to unite in order to defeat President Bush. "I have reflected a great deal over the years about the need for dialogue and unity among various minority and progressive communities," Streisand writes on her Web site. "The presidential primary process is underway . . . keep in mind that the end goal for all of us is to elect a Democratic president . . . With a shared history of oppression and slavery, as well as a common ingrained culture of social justice, Blacks and Jews, over the years and still today, have been natural allies . . . “

You’ll notice she doesn’t demand the Democrats field a black or Jewish candidate. Run, Condi, run! Force Barbra to vote against her “natural ally”!

May I ask what the hell you are doing reading the website of the evil Streisand monster? Are you sick?

Why is it that lefties are so outraged by racism yet they persist in identifying people by their race?

Posted by: Mike Hunt at June 24, 2003 at 08:03 PM

Because, to famous liberal loonie lefties (LLL), what's important about "the little people" are their group identities, not their individuality. Because they're LLL's, by *their* definition it's impossible for them to be racist (unless they're self-hating whites who teach "whiteness courses"). So they feel just fine about making blanket generalizations about people based on race.

And what about the anti-Semitic American black Muslim fringe, Barb? You just lost that constituency, although I doubt many of them cared for your songs, your bad movies, or your rapacious lifestyle to begin with.

The only thing that vapid witch has ever reflected on is her visage in the mirror; it's a wonder the damn thing didn't break with her puss on it!

My favorite scenario has Cheney stepping down due to health, age, what have you in favor of Ms Rice for the '04 elections, followed by Ms Rice running in '08 for the big one. I know almost nothing about her but if GWB trusts her to be the voice in his ear then she's a couple of steps better qualified than any of the donk candidate wannabes. I keep hoping the GOP would start holding the socialists' feet to the fire and this would do the trick nicely.

Babs,
Go back and retake your high school civics classes. The president of the United States is allways a "Democratic" president. What you want is a president who is a member of the Democrat party. You might also want to review the Electoral College process so you can get over the so-called "stolen" election.

According to this Constitutional Law website, the Republican party was founded to oppose expansion of slavery into the territories. The USSC ruled against them:

[1857: Dred Scott v. Sandford (6-1-2). Court rules Congress lacks the power to outlaw slavery in federal territory and that even free blacks cannot be citizens of the U.S. and are thus unprotected by Constitution's guarantees of individual rights.

Hinton Helper publishes "The Impending Crisis" an indictment of slavery. Republican party uses it as a campaign document. Southern states treat circulation of the book as a crime.]

Conde Rice tells of her grandfather voting Republican during those "Jim Crow" days in the Old South - because the Republicans allowed him to register to vote. The Dems. didn't. Her family's been voting Republican since.

michael: "if only Rice was jewish..."

Try this on for size: Rice/Wolfowitz 2008.

Rolls trippingly off the tongue, no? And it would drive Babs so nuts she would need to go on medication. (If she isn't already. It would explain a lot.)

Not likely, but as you say: Dare to dream.

I still haven't got over Yental. My mother made me watch that soul-destroying crap as a child and the scars are still there. Why don't the hackers out there do something useful and down that site!

Condi is my personal pick to run in '08 (especially sweet if she ended up going womano a womano with Ms. Hillary "I wanted to wring his neck")

She actually has two very workable scenarios that would give her more than a fighting chance - one has already been mentioned (replacing Cheney at some point, preferably after the '04 elections) or throwing her hat in the ring for California Governor on the Davis recall ballot, then heading into the '08 GOP primaries with fifty-something delegates already in her pocket.

Condi/Wolfowitz is a great ticket, but I'm holding out for Condi/Goldberg (Jonah) ;)
