Posted by Tim Blair at May 27, 2003 01:36 AMThis one has me worried. I was most pleased when my better half upgraded to the latest model CRV because it had a bigger engine. Big engine equals greater fuel consumption equals more angst for the enviro-nazis like Ms Huffandpuff and her friends.
To discover that the CRV is now rated as a non-guzzler has us worried. We don't want our family to be msitaken for some lentil eating, kaftan wearing peaceniks!
Posted by: Driver at May 28, 2003 at 12:04 AMThe effort to guzzle large volumes of fuel is an exercise in frustration. One would do better, no greater pleasure than doing in greenies and nanny police but, driving around many hours a day is not practical and the added con, the money wasted.
What is needed is a long list of handy hints on doing the sort of things the nazis seek to ban.
