AUSTRALIAN FORCES UPDATE: Australian F/A-18
Posted by Tim Blair at March 29, 2003 02:18 AMAustralian F/A-18 Hornet fighter-bombers have conducted bombing attacks against Iraqi Republican Guard units in fighting along the road to Baghdad.
In the first release of specific information about RAAF activities in the Iraq conflict, an Australian defence source said the attacks occurred over the past 48 hours in support of the US 5 Corps in its advance on Baghdad.
